It's an HP Pavilion with an i7 processor, 8 GB of ram, and 16GB of optane memory. These processes stop relatively soon after Steam fails to start. When I open task manager as I try to run Steam, I can see Steam Client Bootstrapper (32 bit) run, as well as some other Steam processes, One day I updated Steam after a lengthy time of not opening/running it in a while and now this problem is occurring. I've had Steam on my pc for about a year with no issues. When I try to open Steam, it says updating Steam, then verifying installation for about 1-3 seconds, and then nothing happens. The problem I am having is that I cannot open Steam. Any help is appreciated- hell, I'll even pay if it works. It seems my only option is to reinstall my OS. All I got from Steam Support was an automated response with possible solutions that I've already tried. I've reached out on Reddit on r/steam and I've reached out to Steam Support, but didn't get any help from either.
